Mission Statement:

The Hawai‘i Surgical Innovation, Technology and Education Center (Hawai‘i SITE Center) is dedicated to achieving excellence in patient care, clinical training, research, and outcomes studies, pertaining to the techniques and technology in minimally invasive therapies.

Our main goals is to increase the level of education for all practitioners by training surgeons of all levels in advanced surgical techniques, thus providing and elevating the quality of care and access to quality care for all patients in Hawai‘i.

The 5 key areas of development under the Hawai‘i Surgical Innovation, Technology and Education Center will be:

The Hawai‘i Surgical Innovation, Technology and Education Center strives to provide techniques and technology to our Surgeons in order to offer the best means of patient care to the people of Hawai‘i . We concentrate on the education of allied health professionals, students, residents, fellows, and surgeons from within the region and throughout the world. Research remains one of our top priorities and the multidisciplinary team that we have assembled work in a comprehensive environment that allows us to produce and evaluate technology in the clinical setting.
