Dr. Jeffrey T. Sakamoto grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii attending Iolani School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California where he graduated as Valedictorian of the Viterbi School of Engineering. Following this, he received his Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine graduating with AOA honors. He then went on to complete his Emergency Medicine residency at Stanford University where he also served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Sakamoto currently works for The Emergency group, Inc. as a board certified emergency physician. In his free time, Dr. Sakamoto is an avid bodysurfer.
