Linda Wong, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Linda Wong began her career in transplantation in 1991, and in 1993 joined the transplant team at the St. Francis Medical Center in Honolulu, where she pioneered liver transplantation in Hawai‘i. She has performed over 280 liver transplants and over 150 kidney transplants as a primary surgeon. Dr. Wong has published over 150 articles in medical journals and she has given over 200 presentations. She has special interests in the liver, bile duct, and pancreatic cancers and has expertise in these areas of surgery. She leads a translational liver cancer research group with the University of Hawaii Cancer Center who has collectively produced numerous articles, presentations, and grants.

Dr. Wong also serves as Professor of Surgery for the University of Hawai‘i’s John A. Burns School of Medicine, Professor for the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center, and is the director of the Liver Transplant Program at The Queen’s Medical Center. She is a member of several prestigious surgical societies including the Pacific Coast Surgical Association, Society of University Surgeons, and the American Surgical Association.
